RATUM Law Group was founded in 2004 and specializes in providing legal and consulting services in the agricultural sector.
The rapidly developing agricultural market requires civilized relations and big investments. We work with Russian companies as well as international partners and thus facilitate the development of the Russian agricultural business by making it more stable and attractive.
Our specialists’ competencies include land legal relations, procedures of agricultural enterprises reformation, development and expert evaluation of investment projects. We have an exclusive experience of protecting foreign plant breeders’ rights and recovering royalty fees.
The company employs over 30 lawyers and consultants who work in a close-knit team. Our staff’s expertise and work experience ensure a high quality of our services. RATUM values its reputation and strives to meet the international standards of providing legal services.

RATUM successfully collaborates with the Agrarian Committee of the RF State Duma in terms of the land legislation improvement. Such collaboration resulted in publishing the commentary to the Federal Law “On Agricultural Land Transactions”.
In 2007 RATUM became a prize winner of the “Golden Mercury-2006” National Business Award at the regional level in the nomination of “The Best Small Enterprise Proving Legal Services”. In 2006 RATUM became a diploma winner in the same nomination.
In 2009 RATUM became the prize winner of the regional contest organized by the Administration of the Kursk Region “Top Company of Small and Medium Business in the Kursk region – 2008” in the nomination of “Audit. Law Practice. Teaching”.
In 2010 RATUM became an award winner of the 10th Interregional Wholesale and Retail Trade Fair “Kurskaya Korennaya Yarmarka”.
According to PRAVO.RU 300 rating results RATUM has the 4th rating position in the list of The Best Regional Law Firms operating in Russia and is one of the Top-100 Best Law Firms In Russia.
In 2009 in collaboration with the Kursk regional office of the All-Russian Non-Governmental Organization of Small and Medium Business “OPORA ROSSII” RATUM started to implement the System of accessible legal assistance for small and medium businesses in the Kursk Region.
The company is involved in social and community activities. RATUM works closely with the “Kursk-Region” Charitable Fund, participates in the Kursk regional charitable program “Mir Detstva” (The Childhood World”), supports the reconstruction of churches in Kursk and Orenburg Eparchies.
Since 2008 RATUM has been the organizer of the contest “Putevka V Zhizn” (Start In Life) for university students of law departments in Kursk.
